WGNS has another LawnLove survey that highlights the best cities, this one for their thriftiness’. In this one, Murfreesboro proved not so thrifty.
In Tennessee, Murfreesboro was nearly at the bottom of the thrift list, with only Clarksville below the ‘Boro.
And out of Tennessee’s biggest cities with 100-thousand or more residents, Nashville proved to be the thriftiest. Knoxville was the second most thrifty large city in the Volunteer State, followed by Memphis, and then Chattanooga at number 4, Murfreesboro at number 5 and last, but not least Clarksville, Tennessee.
Nationwide, Nashville scored as the 19th most thrifty city in the country, whereas Murfreesboro was ranked at number 128 out of 200 large cities.
