In a recent interview, Juvenile Court Judge Donna Scott Davenport told WGNS that being a judge is rewarding, but at the same time… emotional. On a regular basis Judge Davenport deals with family issues involving children who are abused. The judge told WGNS…

A group called Prevent Child Abuse in Tennessee aims to plant 95,000 pinwheels in the ground which will represent the number of children who are expected to be born in Tennessee this year. The pinwheels will represent how children are supposed to live happy and carefree lives. Several hundred pinwheels will be placed in front of the South Church Street Rutherford County Juvenile Court Building. The pinwheels will be set up on April 12th. A special ceremony will begin at 8 AM.

Don’t forget to wear blue on Friday. This Friday (April 5) is “Wear Blue Day” to help bring more awareness to the problem of child abuse.
