WARREN COUNTY, TN - Earlier this month in nearby Warren County, a long list of suspects were arrested after a series of arrest warrants were executed by the Warren County Sheriff's Office, McMinville Police and the 31st Judicial District Attorney’s Office. The arrests were the result of a joint operation between the different departments, investigating drug trafficking in Warren County.

23 Out of 37 subjects indicted this month by the Warren County grand jury have been arrested on drug related charges. Also, the operation resulted in the arrest of additional subjects wanted for a variety of crimes, including violent offenses, as well as officers discovering additional illegal drugs during the series of arrests.

Warren County Sheriff Jackie Matheny, Jr. said that he “...is proud of the work between the departments and deems the operation a success.” He also assured the public that his office will continue to work with the police department and the district attorney’s office to investigate, arrest, and assist in the prosecution of those involved in illegal drug activity.
