SMYRNA, TN - In Smyrna, the police department is investigating an incident that unfolded in the parking lot of Tire Discounters. Tire Discounters is at 714 President Place in Smyrna, next to Taco Bell.

Evidently, an unknown man walking a small dog on what appeared to be a pink leash, was captured on surveillance video attempting to open a car door. Police report the subject is suspected of stealing a vehicle from the parking lot of the tire shop. The stolen vehicle was a red, 4-door Mazda with faded paint on the hood, roof and trunk.

The man who was captured on video was wearing shorts with high-top sneakers. He appeared to have a goatee and was bald or balding on top.
