RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TN - A special event is nearing that will be of interest to beekeepers... That was Murfreesboro beekeeper Zane Cantrell, who serves on the board of directors for the Tennessee Beekeepers Association. He said the annual Beekeepers Conference is open to everyone interested in beekeeping.

Cantrell answered a question that many have asked, “Do we have a lack of bees or are we losing bees?”... WGNS also asked Cantrell about local honey being used to combat allergies...

Again, the Beekeepers Association will hold their 2nd annual conference at MTSU the first weekend of October, Friday Oct. 6 and Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023. The event will be in the MTSU Student Union building.
