RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TN - In Christiana, the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office was recently dispatched to a local address after an unknown subject helped himself to someone else’s property.  According to investigators, the alleged thief pulled into the yard of a home on the Shelbyville Highway near the C & E Market, which is in the 5800 block of Shelbyville Pike.

After the man pulled his dark colored SUV into the victim’s yard, he was captured on a home security camera getting out of the vehicle. The man quickly made his way over to a small 6-foot utility trailer that was sitting in the yard. He lifted up the front tongue of the trailer and then pulled it over to the rear of his SUV. After dropping the trailer onto his hitch, he could be seen on video getting back into his vehicle and driving away.
