(MURFREESBORO)  It's homecoming weekend in Big Blue Country. Middle Tennessee State University's homecoming parade enjoyed perfect weather with temps in the 70s.

Assistant Director of MTSU's Alumni Relations Beth Dye told WGNS the theme of this year's Homecoming is . . .

On Saturday morning (9/23/2023) East Main was overflowing with True Blue from the start of the parade until the tailgate parties.

“Homecoming is a celebration of what MTSU means to its students, alumni and community,” said Beth Dye, Alumni Relations assistant director. “It’s a time to welcome home our alumni and to commemorate their milestones and achievements since their time here at MTSU. Homecoming is an opportunity to join in a multitude of festivities across campus, reunite with friends, and to cheer on our Blue Raiders.”

Gametime for MTSU will be at 6:00, Saturday night in the Floyd Stadium. The Blue Raiders will take on Colorado State.

And yes, you'll hear the game on WGNS  in Murfreesboro at AM 145O, FM 100.5, listeners in Smyrna can tune to FM 100.5.
