MURFREESBORO, TN — “The Child Advocacy Center is calling all golfers for the 13th annual Turkey Tee Off,” announced Child Advocacy Center Leadership Team member Jessica Wauchek. “Come out and enjoy a fun golf tournament, and the funds raised will support critically needed services for child abuse victims!”
The Turkey Tee Off golf tournament is scheduled for Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Smyrna Golf Course, located at 101 Sam Ridley Pkwy E, Smyrna, TN 37167. Registration and breakfast begin at 8 a.m. before teeing off at 9 a.m. Have your team picture taken, put your putting skills to the test, bid on items in the silent auction, and aim for a chance to win the $10,000 hole-in-one contest. Grab a boxed lunch from Slick Pig BBQ after your round of golf.
The Child Advocacy Center works as a team with the Department of Children’s Services, law enforcement, and the District Attorney’s Office to respond to child abuse cases, investigate the crime, aggressively prosecute offenders, help children heal, and help families rebuild their shattered lives. In the last 23 years, the Child Advocacy Center and the Child Protective Investigative Team have impacted the lives of 13% of the population of Rutherford and Cannon Counties by helping 44,652 people.
