(MURFREESBORO) When the topic on WGNS morning talk shows is about traffic problems, we always get calls from motorists saying one of the issues is "big trucks stopping in the center lane to unload during peak traffic hours". 

Police agree that is a problem, but indicate that they are not always there when it happens. 

One of the WGNS' news units was traveling down Memorial Boulevard at 12:17PM on Thursday (10/19/2023), when we passed a vehicle hauler unloading in the center of one of the city's major thoroughfares. The reporter stopped to get a picture. While taking the news photo, an unmarked Murfreesboro Police cruiser pulled-into the middle lane behind the truck and turned-on the blue lights.
