(MURFREESBORO) Murfreesboro Police Officer Jessica Rose was driving along Front Street and approaching the business intersection of SE Broad Street. It was lunch time and the traffic was heavy. She saw a man in a wheelchair, the road's incline was so much that he had to push backwards in order to move. 

The man seemed surprised when Officer Rose got out of the squad-car and offered to push the wheelchair across the 7-lanes of traffic. Between the dashboard camera in the police car and the officer's bodycam, this act of compassion was caught on video. 

This is just one of many "beyond the call of duty" acts done by local officers.
