Juveniles Reported: Woman Almost Hits Minors with Her Car After Store Incident

MURFREESBORO, TN - Murfreesboro Detectives are aiming to learn the identity of a subject they're calling a “Person of Interest” in an aggravated assault case. The MPD reported to media their intent is to question the person of interest, once they have been positively identified and located.

According to police, the subject maybe tied to an incident that occurred this past Saturday (November 11, 2023), which resulted in the aggravated assault of up to three victims that were all under the age of 18. The situation happened at the Dollar General Store on Bradyville Pike in the 'Boro.

MPD Public Information Officer Larry Flowers elaborated, “...three juveniles told police they got into an argument with a woman who was being rude and disrespectful while at the cash register at the Dollar General on Bradyville Pike.”

After the incident, the adolescents left the store on foot and began walking down Bradyville Pike. While walking, they noticed the woman they had a run-in with drive past them in a silver Ford Mustang. The female was allegedly driving at a high rate-of-speed. The driver made a U-turn, speeding back towards the juveniles, according to what the juveniles told police. Those minors said the female almost hit them with her car.

Police have since released photos that were captured on the store's video surveillance cameras in hopes of someone recognizing the woman. If you do recognize her, you're encouraged to call Detective Jenna Petersen at 629-201-5643.
