The Great Watch Heist in Murfreesboro (Okay, maybe not that great)

Apr 11, 2013 at 08:34 pm by Bryan Barrett

It would appear that two men were in need of some watches. The duo entered the Belk department store on Medical Center Parkway and one of the two men grabbed six watches and ran for the doors. He and the second subject jumped into a white KIA with a University of Alabama vanity plate on the front. The watches were apparently valued at over $1,000 because the offense was labeled as a theft of items worth more than $1,000.

The witness told authorities a female was driving the getaway vehicle that managed to do just that… get away. By the time authorities got to the scene of the watch heist, the trio was long gone. So far, no arrests have been made.

So, if you see someone wearing six Michael Kors brand watches, chances are good they were stolen.
