(CLARKSVILLE, TN)  Murfreesboro Police have identified the adult male who was apprehended along with two juveniles Tuesday (11/28/2023) near the Kentucky state line in Clarksville. 19-year-old Lamarious Nelson is locked behind bars at the Montgomery County Jail on charges of attempted first degree murder. 

Nelson's two co-horts that were apprehended at the same time, were not identified because they are juveniles. However, they were transported back to Murfreesboro and placed in the Rutherford County Juvenile Detention Center on the same charges with juvenile petitions.

The three of them allegedly kicked and beat a man last Friday night in the parking lot of Kelton's Hardware Store on the Old Fort Parkway near Gresham Lane. After the beating, the victim was brutally stabbed multiple times. He remains in the hospital and in critical but stable condition.
