Anyone can drop off non-perishable food items at any of the above locations. You can also pick up food for free at any of the above locations.


Today on the Action Line, host Scott Walker talked to State Representative Mike Sparks and Kathy Tyson with the We Are Hope Foundation. Kathy talked about food insecurity this time of year and the need for local citizens to donate non-perishable food items by placing the food into Blessing Boxes throughout Rutherford County.

During the second half of the Action, Scott and Rep. Sparks were joined by local historian Marty Luffman. The three discussed a variety of topics about historic places in the Smyrna and LaVergne area.

Food Donations Needed: As mentioned by guest Kathy Tyson in the first half of the show, Food can be dropped-off OR picked-up at any Blessing Box location in Rutherford County.
