La VERGNE, TN: The La Vergne public works department is once again accepting live Christmas trees now through Jan. 31, 2024 at the Public Works facility, 148 International Blvd. Drop them off Monday through Friday. All trees must be free of decorations, including ornaments, lights, tinsel, etc. before they can be dropped off for recycling. No artificial trees will be accepted. MURFREESBORO, TN: Drop off Christmas trees now through Monday, Jan. 22, 2024 (6AM-2PM) Remove all the lights and ornaments and drop off your tree (NO artificial trees please) at one of two locations for chipping: • Our mulching facility, 4765 Florence Road from 6 a.m.- 2 p.m. • Cannonsburgh Village, 312 South Front Street (by the antique tractor display)
If you’re a resident of the City of Murfreesboro, you can place the tree curbside by your house, and our crews will collect them at no charge.
SMYRNA, TN: Drop off Christmas trees now through 5PM, Jan. 11, 2024, at the Lee Victory Recreation Park (110 Sam Ridley Parkway East, Smyrna, TN) near the football fields. Please remove all decorations from the tree prior to drop off. The mulch from the trees helps maintain our existing and future park trails.
