Shoplifting Incident in Murfreesboro Sparks Police Investigation: Detectives Seek Public Assistance

In a recent series of thefts at JCPenney in Murfreesboro, local police detectives are actively seeking to identify a person of interest linked to two separate shoplifting incidents. The unidentified woman, caught on surveillance video during both incidents, is wanted for questioning regarding the theft of merchandise totaling over $2,000. On these occasions, the suspect was observed filling bags and a purse with a variety of items, including men's clothing, jewelry, and hair products.

One incident that was captured on camera, occurred just 2-days before Christmas on December 23, 2023. In that case, the unknown subject can be seen exiting the store with clothing in hand and tucked under her arm.
