City Council members awarded Captain Bricker with the Murfreesboro STAR award after learning of his compassionate actions towards an elderly woman facing hardship. When the woman called 9-1-1 to report her water service was disrupted due to an unpaid bill, Captain Bricker, along with MPD Officer Jaydin Davis, went above and beyond their duties to provide immediate assistance. They generously contributed funds to purchase water, food, and snacks for the woman, alleviating her distress and demonstrating the true spirit of community service.
