MURFREESBORO, TN - Murfreesboro detectives are seeking the public's help in identifying an individual who attempted to use stolen keys to gain entry into the Tennessee Vape & Smoke retailer located on Old Fort Parkway on February 2, 2024. The unidentified male, whose identity remains elusive, left the keys in the door after his unsuccessful attempt to access the premises. The keys in question were pilfered during a burglary of the business on October 21, 2023.

The recent incident underscores the ongoing threat posed by potential thieves targeting the Tennessee Vape & Smoke retailer. In a previous burglary in October of last year, unknown suspects broke into the shop, situated near the intersection of Old Fort Parkway and St. Andrews Drive. Surveillance footage from inside the store revealed that the perpetrators utilized what appeared to be a sledgehammer to shatter the glass on the front door. Following the break-in, the masked duo swiftly seized cash from registers and absconded with numerous boxes of nicotine-filled vape juice.
