A worker at Swifty Gas Station on Memorial Boulevard two doors down from O’Charley’s was robbed on Tuesday evening at 6. The victim told officers he was approached by a tall white male and a short white male asking for change. Evidently the height of the two was quite noticeable. The tall male was possibly as tall as 6’2” and the shorter subject was closer to 5’2”.
When the taller subject approached the attendant he asked if he could get change for a $20. When the 55-year old victim pulled his cash out of his pocket, the culprit grabbed the money and ran. The victim chased after the two men, but they were able to getaway.
So far, no arrests have been made.
