Six Murfreesboro City Schools Recognized as Tennessee Reward Schools

Murfreesboro, TN - The Tennessee Department of Education recently announced that Murfreesboro City Schools has achieved a remarkable feat, with six of its schools being recognized as Tennessee Reward Schools. This designation is the highest state distinction a public school can earn in Tennessee.
The schools recognized include Black Fox, Erma Siegel, Reeves-Rogers, Bradley Academy, Overall Creek, and Northfield Elementary. These schools are being commended for making significant improvements in overall student academic achievement and growth.
What's particularly noteworthy is that nearly half of all Murfreesboro City Schools received this honor, compared to the typical 20% across the state. This achievement reflects the dedication of the teachers, staff, and administrators to ensuring every student's success.
With thirteen schools educating over 9,500 students, Murfreesboro City Schools is making strides in providing outstanding education across the district.
