La Vergne Police Identify Suspects in City Limits Jewelry Store Robbery

La Vergne, TN - La Vergne Police have made progress in the investigation of a robbery that occurred on February 14th at the City Limits Jewelry & Repair store on Murfreesboro Road. Two individuals believed to be involved have been identified as Laurese Lamar Webster-Stephen Jr. and Antoine Keron Fairley.

According to La Vergne Public Information Officer Anne Smith, both Webster-Stephen Jr. and Fairley allegedly entered the store and claimed to be armed, initiating a robbery. Following the incident, a brief foot pursuit ensued in the vicinity of Jefferson Pike and Center Street, but the suspects managed to evade capture.

Despite extensive search efforts and the establishment of a perimeter by authorities, the suspects remained at large. On the 21st, after exhausting search attempts, the perimeter was disbanded, and residents were advised to remain vigilant as the suspects were considered armed and dangerous.

As of today, 12 days after the robbery, Webster-Stephen Jr. and Fairley are still evading arrest, according to the LPD. La Vergne Police emphasize that the investigation is ongoing and urge anyone with information to contact the department at (615) 793-7744 or Rutherford County Crime Stoppers at 615-893-STOP (7867).

The community is encouraged to stay alert and report any sightings or information that may assist in apprehending the suspects.
