Murfreesboro, TN - Murfreesboro Police were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident on Monday morning that involved law enforcement from another agency. According to the MPD, the wreck happened at the intersection of South Church Street and Middle Tennessee Boulevard. The collision, that occurred around 7:40 AM, involved a Tennessee Highway Patrol SUV and a four-door sedan.

Murfreesboro Fire & Rescue also responded to the call and within minutes, notified dispatch that at least one person was believed to be injured in the crash.

A short time after fire personnel arrived, an additional THP unit showed up. Larry Flowers with the MPD stated, “THP arrived and took over the investigation.”At this time, the investigation into the collision remains active and details on who caused the crash have not been released.
