BOLO: Identity Theft Suspect Sought in Multi-Bank Fraud Spree

Murfreesboro, TN - Local law enforcement authorities are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a woman believed to be connected to a string of fraudulent activities across multiple bank branches in Murfreesboro and surrounding areas.

The suspect, captured on surveillance footage, is alleged to have cashed counterfeit checks totaling over $5,200 at three different Wilson Bank & Trust branches within Murfreesboro. Investigators suspect her involvement in similar fraudulent schemes in Smyrna and Wilson County.


The investigation stems from a reported vehicle break-in on March 15 in Lebanon, where the victim's debit card and driver's license were stolen. Since then, the perpetrator has been spotted utilizing the stolen credentials in unauthorized transactions.

Described as a woman with distinct features, including a rose tattoo adorning her right hand and an earring in her nose, the suspect remains unidentified. Detective Ray Daniel of the MPD Fraud Division urges anyone with information regarding her whereabouts or identity to come forward.
