Man from Murfreesboro Arrested in Connection to Nashville Restaurant Shooting

Nashville, TN - Anton Rucker, the suspect in a tragic shooting at a Salemtown restaurant in Nashville, has been apprehended in Princeton, Kentucky, according to Metro Nashville Police. The arrest came after diligent efforts by MNPD TITANS (The Investigative Team Addressing Neighborhood Shootings) detectives, who located Rucker at a residence where he surrendered without incident.

Rucker, originally from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, now faces charges related to the shooting incident, which claimed the life of one individual and left five others injured.

His arrest in Kentucky was made possible through a fugitive from justice warrant. Court records from Rutherford County reveal that Rucker had prior run-ins with the law, with ongoing criminal cases including aggravated assault and gun charges from August, as well as felony drug charges from October of last year.

He is currently being held at the Caldwell County Jail in Kentucky until arrangements can be made for his transport to Nashville to face the pending charges.
