Rutherford County, TN - Rutherford County is buzzing with excitement as it gears up to host the much-anticipated Spring Fling that runs Tuesday through Friday, May 21-24, 2024. This Olympic-style event is set to draw over 43,000 athletes and fans, promising a significant boost to the local economy with an estimated impact of $4.8 million.
The Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) orchestrates this unique championship, where high school athletes compete for state titles in seven different sports over four days. The event not only showcases young talent but also unites sports enthusiasts from across the state.
Kelli Beam, Vice President of Membership Development at the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, calls for community support: “We still need volunteers for the TSSAA Spring event. If you can’t volunteer, please spread the word. It’s a great opportunity for high school seniors to fulfill volunteer hours.”
Ticket Information:
- Advance Purchase: $12 per day via GoFan.
- At the Gate: $15 per day, cash only.
- Requirements: School-age children and older need a ticket.
- TACA Cards: Accepted with photo ID.
- TSSAA/TMSAA ID: Not accepted.
- School Administrators: Free admission at the pass gate if registered on the TSSAA Portal.
- Parking: $5 per day, with a pass valid at all venues for the day.
