Murfreesboro, TN – CHORD meets at 6:00 o’clock Monday night (4/29/2024) at Greenhouse Ministries, 307 S. Academy Street. Chord is a collaborative initiative that will encourage local groups providing live music including festivals, concerts, and other community performances in Rutherford County Tennessee.

Chord was created by Dr. Gloria Bonner, Gloria and Thom Christy, along with Lynn Wallace.

Gloria Christy told WGNS, “Plans are to offer support to all those interested in working together to preserve live local musical performances in Rutherford County.

Dr. Gloria Bonner noted, “Chord’s mission is to build harmony and partnerships that will help our community reach its full musical potential.  All groups and individuals in Rutherford County who value the network possibility with others who produce live local music are invited to attend."

In the past year, Chord has facilitated many musical groups with musicians, inspiration, and encouragement.
