Murfreesboro, TN - Remember the words in the old song "I will always remember--GRADUATION DAY." Memories are being made all of this weekend at Middle Tennessee State University as 2,439 receive their diploma at Murphy Center,  2650 Middle Tennessee Boulevard.

Three programs created memories and new Blue Raider alumni.  Murphy Center was alive with a 3:00PM cermony on Friday afternoon (5/3/2024). Saturday (5/4) offered a 9:00AM as well as 2:00PM program.

Franklin County School District Director Cary Holman energized the Friday grads and started them on life's journey. Saturday morning began with a talk from State Rep. Bob Freeman. The Saturday afternoon session put the spotlight on singer/songwriter Michael Hardy, who performs as HARDY.

Of those set to graduate, 2,036 are undergraduates and 403 are graduate students, including 366 master’s candidates, 21 education-specialist recipients and 16 doctoral candidates. In addition, 29 graduate students will be receiving graduate certificates.

Congratulations to the students and their families and loved-ones who all share these "moments to remember" on "graduation day".
