Murfreesboro, TN - As the storm swept through the city, Murfreesboro Police, Fire as well as Street Department were kept busy with downed trees, rising water and other debris.

Another emergency service group, Middle Tennessee Electric, had customers in the line of the circular winds and storm. The majority of their outages were in the southern end of the county, toward Bedford county. There were also scattered MTE outages in southern Cannon county. Linemen crews were making repairs throughout the evening.
