Murfreesboro, TN - There was a multi-vehicle crash shortly before 7:00 o'clock Wednesday evening (6/19/2024) at the intersection of N.W. Broad St. and N. Thompson Ln.

A 4-door red Toyota Camry came to a stop under the traffic signal in Broad Street's turn lane onto Thompson Lane. The other two vehicles stopped on the side of Broad, adjacent to the new Stones River Battleground property where a Civil War era split rail fence had just been installed. The heaviest damaged was a 4-door older model Jaguar. A few car-lengths behind that was a black Toyota supercab pickup truck.

Special thanks to the first responders who aided injured persons, completed the crash investigation, all while keeping traffic flowing. Units from Murfreesboro Police, Fire-Rescue as well as Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services were at-the-scene.
