The Spare Tires and Wheels Were Stolen Off the New Vehicles

Apr 30, 2013 at 10:15 pm by Bryan Barrett

Someone is not acting so nice… An unknown person (or persons) helped themselves to the spare wheels and tires on the backs of four *brand spanking new Jeep Wrangler’s. We are not talking about the main wheels, we are talking about the spare that is traditionally mounted to the back of a Jeep.

The theft was reported at Beamen Dodge on South Church Street. Those wheels will likely turn up on eBay or CraigsList in the near future, if not already. The wheels were valued at over $1,200.

Fun with words:

*Brand Spanking New originates from the wordage or phrase of spick and span which means entirely new – fresh or unused. Other's beleive the saying comes from doctors who in the early days may have spanked a newborn child to induce crying in order to get the child breathing. Now you know.
