Manchester, TN – How many times have you heard about the death of a friend or family member and said, “Life is so fragile”. That is certainly true with the unexpected death of former Manchester radio station owner Rob Clutter on Wednesday (7/31/2024). CLICK HERE for the obituary.
Rob and his wife Tiffany owned the Manchester radio station (WMSR) from 2005 to 2019, and sold it to Josh and Holly Peterson only 5-years ago.
Peterson commented, “Rob was a father figure. After we bought the station, he was always just one call away. Rob had a true, deep love for this radio station and our community.”
In fact, although he and his wife sold the radio station to the Peterson’s, their love for it obviously did not slow. Tiffany continued as news director and host of a local Manchester talk show and Rob continued to host “Under the Roof” on Friday mornings.
At the time of his passing, Clutter served as marketing consultant with Peoples Bank & Trust Company and as Vice President of Eco-Panels Tennessee. He was also the president of the nonprofit Dream for Weave Foundation. In addition, Rob previously served on the board of Coffee County Children’s Advocacy Center and Manchester Chamber of Commerce.

Rob is survived by his wife Tiffany, daughters Mollie Metts and Andie Clutter; sons Eli Clutter and Hudson Clutter. He is also survived by his mother Helen Clutter.
