$867,350 MFRD Sutphen Engine Delivered

Murfreesboro, TN - At an investment of $688,350, Murfreesboro Fire-Rescue has reeeived delivery of a new state-of-the-art 2024 Sutphen Engine.

It was ordered three and a half years ago and will finally be ready to serve our community in about a month. An additional $176,000 worth of essential equipment, including hoses, computers, radios, medical gear, and personal protective equipment, will be added to ensure our firefighters are fully equipped to keep the Murfreesboro community safe.

With all of the accessories, the truck and gear represent an investment of $867,350.

When it's ready for use, the new Murfreesboro Fire-Rescue unit will replace the old Engine 5 at Station 5 on Florence Road.

Sutphen is an emergency services vehicle manufacturer and marketer based in Amlin, Ohio. Sutphen was founded in 1890 by C.H. Sutphen.
