Paul Swenson, Chairman of the Colonial Flag Company headquartered in Sandy, Utah, announces the appointment of Murfreesboro resident Don Wright to the Healing Field Advisory Board. This Board offers professional advice and direction to help promote the mission of the Colonial Flag Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit public charity, established to assist other charities, causes and community awareness issues in making their message and needs known through patriotic displays of flags and memorials. Wright is a member of the Murfreesboro Noon Exchange Club which hosts the Annual Healing Field over Memorial Day Weekend. Don is currently serving as Region 6 Vice President for The National Exchange Club. Hundreds of communities across America have hosted a Healing Field or Fields of Honor to raise money and awareness for a growing array of causes. These special displays of fields of American flags have helped to honor the sacrifice of our service men and women, raise awareness for the tragedy of child abuse or domestic violence, honor veterans past and present, raise awareness for heart disease and cancer and more. The awe inspiring display of hundreds of American Flags laid out in a military grid is a very emotional and moving display of patriotism.
