Murfreesboro, TN - More about the passing of Casey Clark, the community advocate and long-time WGNS listener. His presence and voice on the radio were undoubtedly familiar to many, and it’s clear that he left a lasting impact on the Murfreesboro community.

Casey’s love for people—regardless of their views—and his belief in the power of connection even among those with opposite perspectives is a sentiment we could all learn from. It’s heartwarming to know that he used music as a bridge, both entertaining audiences and mentoring youth. And once playing alongside Jimi Hendrix? What an incredible memory to carry!

As we reflect on Casey’s life, let’s celebrate the way he touched hearts, shared his talents, and fostered connections. His legacy lives on through the memories he created and the lives he influenced.

When talking on the radio one day, Casey confessed that he loved people, and never met a person he really didn’t like. He felt, people with opposite views could get together…

Casey would also use his music as a way to connect with youth so that he could mentor them...

If there’s anything else you’d like to share or discuss, feel free to do so. And may Casey rest in peace.
