Murfreesboro, TN - Sounds like there will be plenty of opportunities to make the most of the snowy weather, even if it does make everyone scramble for sleds! But like the “snow” is an “unknown”, it’s not known whether there will be enough sleds to meet the demand at Holden Hardware.
Tuesday is the calm before the snow with partly cloudy skies and 41°. But temperatures will drop after sunset and snow showers will begin sometime in the late evening and overnight. By the time it's all said and done, we could get up to two-inches of snow. Higher amounts are expected to the north and the forecast could certainly change.
The white stuff should stay with us for a bit with temperatures finally barely making it above freezing Friday afternoon. The “perfect sledding weather” could stay until the weekend.
Enjoy the sledding, because temps will change over the weekend: Saturday highs will be 46, 50 by Sunday, and near 60 by Monday.
The old phrase, “if you don’t like Tennessee’s weather, stick-around—it will definitely change”.
