Murfreesboro, TN - Around 3:20AM Saturday morning (2/22/2025) a one-vehicle crash in the 8400 block of Franklin Road took the life of 22-year-old Diego Estrada, driver of the SUV.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the 2013 Nissan Rouge was traveling toward Murfreesboro on TN highway 96 (Franklin Rd.). Reports indicate that the SUV went off the left side of the roadway, struck a utility pole and overturned several times--ejecting the driver.

The THP report indicates that the driver was not wearing a seatbelt.
