14 Local High School Basketball Teams Compete in Region Quarterfinals; PCA Teams in State Quarterfinals

Fourteen Rutherford County high school basketball teams are set to compete in the region quarterfinals, while PCA’s boys’ and girls’ teams prepare for the state quarterfinals. A win for PCA would secure a spot in the Final Four.

TSSAA sets region quarterfinals at the higher seed. On Friday, WGNS will broadcast Stewarts Creek girls at Rockvale while on Saturday, it's the La Vergne boys at Rockvale. Pregame for both games will be 6:50pm with a 7pm tipoff.

Friday Girls Region Matchups:

  • Rockvale vs. Stewarts Creek

  • Riverdale at Lebanon

  • Blackman vs. Wilson Central

  • Oakland at Cookeville

  • Central Magnet at Upperman

  • Eagleville at Cornersville

  • PCA vs. CAK (Elite 8)

Saturday Boys Region Matchups:

  • Rockvale vs. La Vergne

  • Oakland at Cookeville

  • Blackman vs. Stewarts Creek

  • Siegel at Lebanon
