This year’s festival will feature a diverse lineup of talented musicians performing across two stages and an arts vendor fair showcasing local artists, including entries from “Boro International” and the ‘Boro Art Crawl.
The headline act is a special comedy music group called “The Cleverly’s,” set to perform on Saturday night, September 20, with more details about the schedule forthcoming.
Collaboration with Hop Springs enhances the festival by providing educational opportunities regarding old-time traditions in an entertaining atmosphere. Miranda Adams, the manager of Hop Springs, emphasized the importance of this event as a celebration of the enduring legacy of Dave Macon’s contributions to music, located only a few miles from his historic home in the Kittrell Community.
"Our commitment to share the roots music story through this partnership is stronger than ever, ensuring that people of all ages can enjoy the nostalgia of Middle Tennessee’s musical heritage,” according to Gloria Christy. Adding to the community spirit, Melissa Cross from Rutherford County Area Habitat for Humanity expressed excitement about their partnership with the festival. They will introduce the “Hammer Down for Habitat” event, fostering community bonds while supporting affordable housing initiatives.
