MURFREESBORO, Tenn.—Drivers in Murfreesboro are advised to avoid part of DeJarnette Lane after a gas line rupture was reported at 11:18AM Monday morning (3/10/2025). The affected section, between Northwood and Memorial, is closed as crews work to address the situation. Atmos Energy warns that traffic delays in the area could last until as late as 9':00 o'clock in the evening. 

Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department is on-site, closely monitoring air quality to ensure public safety. Meanwhile, Atmos Energy workers are actively repairing the rupture, striving to complete the work as swiftly as possible. Murfreesboro Police Department officers are at the scene, redirecting traffic around the closure.

Motorists are urged to seek alternate routes to avoid disruptions.
