The traffic signal and turn lanes on Thompson Lane and Sulphur Springs Road are closer to completion and should be working as summer approaches.

The site has been the scene of continuing traffic crashes, and City Councilman Doug Young went to bat for the safety of residents by pushing for the improvement. It worked!

One motorist caught in the congestion commented, "The end result will definitely be worth the wait."
