MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Murfreesboro Police detectives are still actively searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed the Dollar General store on Halls Hill Pike at gunpoint earlier this month. The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1.
According to police reports, the suspect entered the store armed with a gun and demanded money. After the robbery, he was seen walking away from the store and heading toward The Grove Apartments, located nearby. Authorities believe someone in the complex may recognize him, as it’s possible he frequents the area. Initial descriptions suggested the suspect had red hair, but police later confirmed he was wearing a red bandanna under a black hoodie. He was also dressed in all black clothing, gloves, and sunglasses at the time of the robbery.
Officers from the Murfreesboro Police Department, along with K9 units and support from the Middle Tennessee State University Police Department, have been canvassing the area in search of the suspect.
