Graduates 5 From TLETA, 1 Receives Scholarship Award
The Murfreesboro Police Department is pleased to announce the graduation of five police officers from the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy. Officers Derrick Bush, Austin Ernst, Cameron Paidousis, Quinn Rodriguez and Jeromy Sanford successfully completed the ten week Basic Police School. These officers will now be assigned to Field Training Officers where they will complete the 15 week Field Training and Evaluation Program. The total training the officers will receive before becoming a solo officer is 31 weeks.
Officer Cameron Paidousis (pictured below) was awarded the Bethel University College of Public Service Award and Scholarship. Paidousis scored the highest on the legal exams while attending the Academy. Bethel awarded him a $5,000 scholarship in which Paidousis plans to use to complete his Bachelor’s degree.
Chief of Police Glenn Chrisman stated: “I am proud of these officers and of their accomplishments. We look forward to the officers finishing their training and I wish them a long and safe career as they serve the City of Murfreesboro.”
