Murfreesboro, TN - The city is buzzing with excitement as folk music and dance troupes from Estonia, Puerto Rico, and Poland are here for a week-long celebration of global traditions. The annual Murfreesboro International Folkfest, hosted by the Cripple Creek Cloggers, has been welcoming performers from across the world since 1986, and this year promises to be another unforgettable experience.

Let the FUN Begin

Led by founder Steve Cates, the Cripple Creek Cloggers continue to serve as goodwill ambassadors, connecting cultures around the world through dance and music.

"It’s a great way of promoting World Peace through folkloric music and dance," said Cates.

In fact, one of the most heartfelt traditions of the festival comes at the conclusion, when performers and audiences join hands to sing “Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me.”

Public performances will take place across multiple locations, including Murfreesboro, Smyrna, La Vergne, Christiana, Eagleville, Tullahoma, and Bell Buckle, from June 10-14, 2025. Whether you're a longtime fan of folk traditions or new to the experience, this is the perfect chance to witness authentic international music and dance, make new friends, and embrace the vibrant spirit of the festival.

So, grab your dancing shoes—Murfreesboro is about to become a global stage once again!
