Break-Thru TN Hosts Community Panel on Mental Health in Murfreesboro

Murfreesboro, TN - Addressing the growing mental health crisis in Tennessee, Break-Thru TN will host a panel discussion on mental health this coming Monday at Fountains at Gateway. The event, set for 6:00-7:30PM, will be free and open to the public. Moderated by seasoned media professional Pamela Furr, the discussion aims to tackle pressing mental health challenges affecting individuals, families, and communities—particularly in underserved areas.

Expert Panelists and Key Topics

The panel will feature distinguished experts in healthcare and leadership, including:

  • Greg Pihs, Leader, Speaker, Author, and Founder of GP Mindgrowth Academy
  • Dr. Bryan Terry, Physician and Tennessee State Representative (District 48)
  • Matt Smith, CEO of Actuate Care
  • Amy Green, Co-Founder and CEO of Mamaya Health

Attendees will gain valuable insights on systemic and policy failures, barriers to mental health care, suicide prevention, and reintegration strategies for behavioral health in primary care settings.
