Murfreesboro, TN - Main Street Murfreesboro’s first Friday Night Live (6/13/2025) of the season started with a rain-soaked setup on the east side of the Rutherford County Courthouse. As showtime neared, the skies cleared, allowing the audience to settle-in and enjoy the evening. Weather made the show start a little late, but those in attendance felt it was definitely worth the wait.
Great Performance
Lisa Law & The Suspects delivered a powerful performance, captivating the crowd with their R&B and jazz-infused sound. The set featured soulful vocals, groovy rhythms, and elements of rock and gospel, making for an energetic and uplifting night on the Square.
Murfreesboro Police parked police cruisers and trucks along South Church Street on the east side of the square, ensuring a solid wall of protection for spectators enjoying the live music. Lawn chairs dotted the inner circle of the courthouse as friends gathered to soak in the sounds and the atmosphere of downtown.
The next Friday Night Live is set for July 11, featuring Sisters Wade Revival, known for their mix of country, folk, and bluegrass. Their acoustic-heavy style and harmonious melodies have earned them recognition, including over 1.2 million views for their rendition of Wayfaring Stranger on CMT’s website.
Saturday Market
In addition to live music, Main Street Murfreesboro continues its Saturday Market from 8 a.m. to noon around the courthouse. Shoppers can find fresh produce, baked goods, flowers, local honey, local fruits, live music, and more. The market runs every Saturday through October 25, 2025.
