Murfreesboro, TN - Murfreesboro Police are continuing their search for a missing 17-year-old teen after one of two reported missing was safely located.

Diamond Ellison, 15, was found in Nashville with the help of the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department. However, Shaniya Rutledge, 17, remains missing, and authorities are asking the public to stay alert and report any possible sightings.

The two teens were originally reported missing as runaways on Tuesday, June 17. They were last seen in the Jayhawk Court area and later near Warrior Drive and South Church Street. Rutledge was last seen wearing a white hoodie and black shorts. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

Police note that neither teen has known ties to the Murfreesboro area.
