Emergency Crews Respond to Multi-Vehicle Crash on Franklin Road

Murfreesboro, TN - A three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Rucker Lane and Franklin Road prompted a swift and coordinated response Wednesday afternoon (7/9/2025) from the Murfreesboro Fire-Rescue Department.

There were people trapped in two of the vehicles. Ladder 11 and Rescue 11 crews successfully extricated the driver. Then that team joined another group to extricate an entrapped victim in the second vehicle. Murfreesboro Fire-Rescue Department Medical Director, Dr. William Crook, was on scene to assist with patient care, ensuring rapid medical attention for all involved.

Rutherford County EMS transported two individuals to the emergency room for further evaluation. Fortunately, all injuries were reported as non-life-threatening.

Traffic was temporarily impacted as crews worked to clear the scene and ensure public safety. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
