MANCHESTER, Tenn. (WGNS) - Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival will see a significant shift in 2026, with organizers announcing that the annual event in Manchester, Tennessee, will move to a new weekend and feature a condensed schedule.
The 2026 edition is now set for June 25–28, moving the festival back by one weekend compared to recent years. In addition to the date change, Bonnaroo will drop its traditional Sunday headliner performance, wrapping up mainstage music on Saturday night instead. Festivalgoers will still be able to camp on-site through Sunday, but no major acts are expected that day.
This adjustment appears aimed at easing the post-festival departure experience, which has often been plagued by long lines and heavy traffic. By finishing the big shows on Saturday night, attendees may have more flexibility in planning their departure and avoiding congestion.
While the full lineup for 2026 has not been released, organizers say the schedule will still include four packed days of music and programming, with early festivities beginning Wednesday and a full day of performances continuing through Saturday night.
The move represents a notable change for Bonnaroo, which has become a major destination for music fans across the country. More details, including artist announcements and ticket information, are expected in the coming months.
