Murfreesboro, TN - Murfreesboro’s Roots Rendezvous is turning up the volume—and the horsepower—this September as Rutherford County Habitat for Humanity’s wildly popular Hammer Down for Habitat Poker Run rolls into Hop Springs for a high-octane finale on Saturday.  The 2025 Roots Rendezvous is presented by Uncle Dave Macon Days, and runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday (September 19-21) at Hop Springs, 5790 John Bragg Highway. This year's festival promises a vibrant mix of bluegrass, comedy, clogging, and crafts.

Festival Director Gloria Christy shared her excitement: “Our goal has always been to unite people through music, art, and community. Teaming up with Rutherford County's Habitat for Humanity brings a deeper meaning to the festival. It’s about connection, creativity, and compassion.”

Festivalgoers will be treated to performances by The Cleverlys, Grand Ole Opry legend Charlie McCoy with the Dew Drop Jamboree, Jake Leg Stompers, Cripple Creek Cloggers, and the Slim Chance Band—plus plenty of porch pickin’ and shade tree jam sessions.

The 2025 Root's Rendezvous goes beyond entertainment. Habitat for Humanity’s involvement adds a powerful layer of purpose. The Hammer Down Poker Run raises funds to build homes for families in Rutherford County, and its partnership with Roots Rendezvous brings together music lovers and community builders in a shared celebration of Southern heritage.

The Hammer Down for Habitat, Poker run is a wildly popular 100-mile charity ride, known for its scenic route and community spirit. It will conclude around lunchtime on Saturday at the three-day Americana festival. The Poker Run brings a fleet of extraordinary bikes, cars, and trucks for the public to admire.

Beyond the stage, guests can explore a curated artisan market featuring handmade goods, personalized jewelry, and Southern culinary delights. Wagon-mule rides, educational exhibits like Harvest to Hoedown, and the Roots of America Story will offer immersive experiences for all ages.

Admission is just $10 per car—so load up your crew and head to Hop Springs for a weekend of soul-stirring music, stunning vehicles, and heartfelt community impact. For more information, contact Festival President Gloria Christy at (615) 668-0475 or gsc714@gmail.com.
