NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Historical Commission has announced that the State Review Board will meet on Friday, September 19, 2025, to review proposed nominations to the National Register of Historic Places. The meeting begins at 9 a.m. (CDT) at the Commission’s office, located at 2941 Lebanon Pike in Nashville, and will also be available virtually for the public to attend.
A total of 11 properties from across Tennessee are being considered. Those found to meet the criteria will move forward to the U.S. Department of the Interior for final approval and inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places.

St. Marks United Methodist Church, Hamilton County

Walden’s Ridge Civic Center, Hamilton County

The State Review Board is made up of 12 members with backgrounds in history, architecture, archaeology, and related fields, along with public representatives. The National Register program, created under the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, is administered in Tennessee by the Historical Commission.
